   Hi SZheldon,

I listened to you on LBC speaking to Jenny this morning, and I agreed with everything you said.   Ii am a white old lady of 80 years old, and I am so concerned about the youth of this country, specially about the fact that Vocational Training Centres are being shut down.   My daughter is a teacher in the Built Environment  area helping boys to attain their Diploma in building, and most of the department has been shut down, due to lack of funding.   Also, some apprenticeship trainings are being cut.   I see this as a very stupid move by the government, as this is the new generation of tradesmen, this is the new blood for this country, and should be encouraged, not disappointed in this way.     Just one thing I cannot work out - where are all the fathers who helped to produce a baby, leaving the woman as "single parents".   In my day, if a couple got together  seriusly, the community then expected them to automatically get married.   Without marriage, we were classed as "living in sin".    Plus:   I do believe a boy-child needs a father figure, to reprimand him with his authorative male voice, also to pat him on the back when he has done well.   Its so sad to see so many single parent mothers, struggling to raise children on their own.   Its difficult enough with someone to share the burden, I do not know what I would have done without the help of my husband.   Regards, Rene.
